Art of Living Celebration: The Art of Giving Thanks

Description: We want to start the 2010-2011 season with a celebration and, thanks to Dominique Larocque, it will be a very special celebration! Dominique is opening the doors of her Creative Wheel Centre (CWC) to welcome Art of Living volunteers, members, families and guests. It will be a day to celebrate our connection to one another and to give thanks for the beauty that surrounds us in nature.
The CWC sits peacefully at the foot of a 108-acre rocky mountain, carved with thoughtful design to offer visitors a unique, soulful experience. It was created to be a place to learn, rest, hike, contemplate, write, read or simply share one s journey with kindred spirits.
And we intend to do just that! No structured activities will be proposed. The only theme for this special day will be « The art of giving thanks ». We want to thank our members, participants, volunteers and speakers who have already enriched the Art of Living Network immensely and are making the launch of this 2nd season possible. We want to thank Dominique, who has been taking care of her beautiful land for many years with such love and dedication and is so generously sharing it with us. And, most of all, it will be a day to take a moment to appreciate nature and give thanks for all that Mother Nature provides!

Art of Living Community Network was born out of reflection on these questions and it is our belief that Art of Living can make these “what ifs” realities.

is a forum where all the big issues of the day are debated: the environment, family, health promotion and well-being, social issues, politics and art
does not solve problems or “cure” anybody
offers a wide range of activities and information through resources, conferences and hands-on workshops
is a learning forum where you can express your opinions and experiment with new disciplines (that are sometimes thousands of years old)
enables you to meet experts that are not here to tell you what to think or what to do, but to share their knowledge, insights and ideas to help you find your own path.
In a fragmented world, Art of Living purposefully blends multiple domains, seeking unity within diversity.
